MONDAY – “I am the Light of the world”
Read John 8:12 and 12:35.  What are some of the benefits in the text to being a follower of Jesus?  What is the downside of not walking with the Light?  How can walking in the Light help you each day?


TUESDAY – “I am the Good Shepherd”
Read John 10:11 and 14.  This popular word picture of Jesus can be a great strength to us each day.  From this text, list three benefits to you from His shepherd role.  How is Christ a shepherd to unbelievers?


WEDNESDAY – “I am the Resurrection and the Life”
Read John 11:25-26.  Do you ever have doubts about what will happen to   you when you die?  What was Jesus promising to those who believe in Him?  How important is the assurance of salvation to you?


THURSDAY – “I am the Truth and the Life”
Read John 14:1-6.  We may be assured that God will take care of us when    we die, but what do we have to look forward to after death?  Does gift of salvation bring comfort, peace and hope to you?


FRIDAY – “Jesus, the GREAT SUBSTITUTE”
Read 2 Corinthians 5:21. When we trust Christ for our salvation, essentially we are making a trade.  We trade our sin and its accompanying death     penalty for His righteousness and a new life, with the gift of salvation. What must we do in this incredible trade?  Is it by faith or works?
